Village Chusovoe
About the excursion
This picturesque village stands on the legendary Chusovaya River. This is one of the oldest historical settlements in the Urals. In the 18th century, the Demidovs’ ironworks operated here. It was from here that the metal was sent by river to Central Russia.
This is a full-day trip with a rich program. Here you can see stunning views of the Ural nature, walk along the suspension bridge, visit real huts and enjoy traditional Ural treats from the oven. A tour of the village awaits you. We will go to the production of cedar oil. And local craftsmen will open a fair especially for you. You will be offered teas made from Ural herbs, healing oils, local sweets, arts and crafts, nettle shirts and other curiosities. It is here that you will feel the spirit of the Ural hinterland.
